The Vigilant displays wind speed from 0-100 MPH and 0-160 km/h, as well as highest (or "Maximum") gust. High gust is saved with our unique Gust Register, allowing you to monitor the highest gust even if you're not present when the wind occurs.

The Gust Register is a delicate needle of gold-plated phosphor-bronze, photo etched for precision. Minute oscillations are induced in the meter needle, which then moves the Gust Register by tiny "pile driver" thrusts. Perfectly concentric to the pivot and square to the dial, Gust Register is both an engineering gem and a work of art. Vigilant is self powered by a rooftop sensor and requires no batteries or other power source to operate. Includes 60' cable, wind speed sensor and mounting hardware. 5 year warranty. Available with Black or Silver dial. Solid brass case. Hand assembled in the USA.
