  • Vantage Vue Wireless Weather Center

The Vantage Vue wireless weather station from Davis Instruments provides accurate, reliable weather monitoring in a compact and easy-to-install system. It features an integrated solar powered sensor array with a transmission range of up to 1000' and updates every 2.5 seconds. The compact, high contrast LCD shows weather conditions at a glance, including indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, dew point and rainfall. You'll also get weather forecast icons, moon phase, sunrise/sunset times, graphing of weather trends, alarms and more. Vantage Vue also features an innovative Weather Center button that displays additional data on weather variables for today and over the last 25 days.

The solar-powered integrated sensor suite (rainfall collector, temperature and humidity sensors, and anemometer) is easy to set up, very reliable, and has a stored energy backup. Includes all mounting hardware except the pole. (Pole sold separately)

User can set an alarm for all of the 22 key readings (high and low, except rain which is low only). Choose from over 50 different graphs to be displayed. Change in weather since yesterday text screen with selectable variables.

Current rainfall data includes rain rate, totals for past 15-min, past 24-hour, daily, monthly, yearly (start date user-selectable) and storm (with begin date). Umbrella is displayed when two tips of the rain spoon have occurred within a 15-minute period.

        Comments about WindandWeather Vantage Vue:

I bought this for my husband who loves to keep track of what the weather is doing and what is about to happen. He was soooo thrilled with it and still is 3 months later. He is always checking it out to see what to expect and it is very, very accurate. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone interested in weather.

          Comments about WindandWeather Vantage Vue:

We live in the New Mexico mountains and have VERY variable and extremes of weather.
We now can keep track of rainfall, winds, temp and are getting a good idea about the patterns, or lack of, to which we are subjected and what to expect.
We never would have believed it really got to -34 last winter, unless we saw it on the system.
