        I bought two feeders - one for myself and one for a gift. Everyone raved about how pretty and useful they were. But the birds wouldn't touch it (I put an apple in mine), and one night a bear carried the whole feeder away. I haven't seen it since. Mine lasted about a week. Hope my friend has more luck with his feeder than I did.
