There was no external magnet to move the internal glass cleaner (magnet). When I called about it no one knew what I was talking about. They told me there was no need to clean the glass because the shrimp would eat the bacteria, but I tried to explain that there was no way to remove the bacteria and that the external magnet was just to clean the glass, not to remove the bacteria.

I bought this for my dad for Christmas. He is going to love it! I am loving "babysitting" the little guys while I wait for Christmas. However, now I want to buy one for myself, when they go to live with him. :) Many people have asked where I got such a cool thing. IT IS GREAT! I love watching their little legs as they swim around.

I get a lot of wonderful comments on the sphere. It's beautiful. It is a living environment with no maintenance needed. I keep it at the office and it is very unique and lovely. A nice way to have an aquarium in the office!

small self contained globe that has life in it! no cleaning, feeding, draining,etc. it's so easy. just set it in indirect sun light. the shrimp are very small,but due to the curvature of the globe, they are magnified and easy to see. people are fascinated by it! [...]

My wife enjoys the sea and marine life. We have an aquarium, but she wanted something smaller for the kitchen counter. The Pod was perfect and she was very pleased and surprised when it arrived.

This product is excellent for any space to add
life and entertainment for young and old. I have mine on my breakfast table to add a natural conversation piece. Can be enjoyed by all with a closed environment that is care free. Have purcased 3 units for myself and my friends.

This was a gift for my Mom! She can't have pets in her apartment so this was perfect for her small space! She now has a really great art piece and a pet to look after! I wish I had purchased the larger one!

I gave it as gift to my boss, and everyone that visits their home, wants to know where they got it so they can get one. Just wish you had larger ones to offer, because they are sooooo unique.
